Desparate For Help

Due to budget cuts and layoffs here at UF, I have 2.2 jobs. When they let someone go, they just give their job to someone else who already has one. I wish I could give one to you! But I guess I am lucky to be employed.

Today we are f-f-freezing in Gainesville. It's supposed to get down to 20 tonight!!

First HS practice is Monday, and the high is only going to be 60!

Florida is not so hot right now, either economically or temperature wise. I think they need a new governor in Illinios though.

We just got a memo to prepare for a 10% budget cut for the 09/10 FY. I wonder how many jobs I can do? (or if I can pay for summer ball with unemployment compensation )

Nuts. I did find a house in FL for about half price but I doubt that I can sell mine for what it's worth.

To make things worse, I talked to a baseball friend in Irvine, CA today. It is 100 degrees warmer there than here!

Hey biggerpapi, come on down to Tampa, and enroll your son at Hillsborough High School. We've been known to spit out Major League prospects every other year, like Gary Sheffield, Dwight Gooden, Jimmy Romano, and our new first-rounder, Micheal Burgess.
