Periodically Google what showcases will be in your area.
Ask the coaches of schools your son is interested in where they will be.
I don't have any personal experience with Top 96, but they are advertising several showcases this fall where DIII is well represented. One is listed as an "Academic" at Duke, but most of their northeast events seem to have quite a few DIIIs, too.
