dislocated shoulder

has any one had experience with dislocating their shoulder. fortunately it wasnt my throwing arm.I was diving for a ball. How long does it take for the soreness to go away will this happen again

My teammate dislocated his throwing shoulder, it took him about 6 weeks until he was throwing full strength. He had no legiment damage and no bone chips. He played golf 3 weeks afterward. Depends on how bad yours is.
