My Philadelphia family is agitating for a dog. I'm concerned that we won't be able to manage a dog at the same time as our 2024's soon-to-be high school/national travel team schedule (assuming that travel baseball as we know it happens over the next few years). Neither of us parents wants to stay home for the dog, and my own parents would also prefer traveling to tournaments over dogsitting.
Has anyone traveled with their dog to summer tournaments? Under what sort of conditions? What did you do with the dog during the day? Can you take dogs into any of the big summer venues? We've had dogs before, but not since the switch to travel ball.
