Manchester 10, Clover Hill 6 -- Manchester beats Sean Tierney -- that rates as a pretty big upset. Apparently junior Chris Hardee did a good job of holding Clover Hill off while Manchester scored regularly in the early innings.

Monacan 7, L.C. Bird 2 -- Monacan beats Matt Laney -- another upset. Evan Cook, who did not get a whole lot of innings last year for Monacan, outpitches the ECU signee.

The other results were the expected mercy rule games of James River over Wythe and Midlo over Huguenot. Cosby played out of district and beat Meadowbrook soundly.
