It is generally normal for a team to have a mixture of players that started their college careers there "mixing in" some JUCO players to fill specific needs. Redshirted players are common. There usually are plenty of those on most top 50 rosters. These guys had to wait to contribute for one reason or others. It can indicate depth in the program or over-recruiting depending on who is indicating.

I don't mean to be naive....but is there any signs as to who is "over-recruiting" or "adding depth"? Any info on this particular school?
