We are very proud of the local guys doing some good on the national level. Leavin it up to the little guys in our state to get it done.

Saw the game on TV tonight. They did themselves proud in the second half. Also saw a clip of their home field. Interesting.

Seriously, a wonderful university, especially for any aspiring young athlete interested in a strong education or business degree. A beautiful area.

No, unfortunately, they dropped baseball years ago due to Title IX budget constraints.

Ya mean they played a tournament at the end of the season to find out who the champion was?

You have to love that game. I watched every play and it was an outstanding game. You could just feel it coming for EW. They got the Mo on their side and once they did it was just a matter of having enough time on the clock. I thought Delaware once they got that 19-0 lead lost some of their intensity and when EW got that first score the tables turned. The effort by both those teams was tremendous. It sure was fun to watch. And I have to admit I really didn't care who won until the VP got in the booth. I was all EW after that!

Congrats to EWU!

I was okay with Biden's team losing ... it really messed up traffic yesterday with VP Biden in town for the EWU/Delaware game. They shut down a major tollway at 4:45 (rush hour) for the VP's motorcade to come through and unfortunately I got stuck in one of the blocked off intersections for half an hour. The motorcade went right in front of me and I have never seen so many flashing lights in one place before - there were easily 60 vehicles (motorcycles, limos, SUVs, vans, ambulance, police cars) traveling all in a straight line blazing through the cleared streets. Our tax dollars at work ......

I was rooting for the Eagles all the way. It looked pretty bleak for quite awhile but they came through.

It's about time a Big Sky team finished strong.
