Baseball03,

Sorry for your injury. Wishing you a speedy recovery.
You stated that you saw a Dr.
Was it an Orthopedic Dr.? What tests did he run? Did you have an MRI or MRA done?

Rest, followed up with PT is pretty standard procedure with that kind of injury. At least it was with our son. But, I'd hold off on throwing while you have pain. And a 2nd opinion wouldn't be a bad idea either. And if surgery is suggested, do your research on the subject, and Orthopedic Surgeons. And get more than one opinion. Try and relax. It happened to our son, right at the beginning of his Senior Season. The University that had recruited him, still wanted him, even with the impending surgery. Redshirting his Freshmen year, surgery went well, and rehab is on schedule, and going well too.

Don't lose faith!

Doesn't matter of which sport you are a part of but there are many dangers associated with sporting.Sometimes it can be very painful and ends up with surgery. If you have light pain the you should take precautions now. There are many products you can easily found on EBay or Amazon which provide instant relief.I found one such at Amazon and I have tried it also.Hope it will be helpful to you!!!
