Diamond Pros Night

This clinic, open to 2009 high school freshman and sophomore participants, will meet on Sundays from August 16-October 18, 2008 at the CCBC Essex baseball field. Under the direction of CCBC Essex Head Baseball Coach, Mark Palmerino, the clinic will include CCBC Essex and Diamond Pros staff, and has scheduled guest appearances of other collegiate and professional baseball coaches. Morning instruction will be followed by a series of DH games. Teams will be evaluated and balanced evenly. Participants will be provided opportunities to play multiple positions. Additionally, participants will take part in mid-week training at Diamond Pros. The clinic runs for 8 weeks! Participants of all skill levels are welcome.
Weeknight training a Diamond Pros will include in depth mechanical breakdown of hitting and pitching mechanics by the CCBC Essex and Diamond Pros Staff where participants will benefit from the utilization of the ProBatter Pitching Machine....a video based machine that throws velocities from 40 - 100 mph, various pitch types (fastball, curveballs, change-ups, sliders, splitters) and throws to specific locations!
All campers will receive two jerseys and a hat and are responsible to for baseball pants and other personal equipment.
