The Greatest is definately near the top. However, son is a brown eyed CF (was in HS anyway!), so "Centerfield" always makes me smile!

The theme song/instrumental from The Natural still gives me chills every time I hear it.

The Meatloaf song really isn't a baseball song but it has that segment in it where the kid is running the bases and tries to steal home if you remember. The conotation is not really family rated but it is a good song.

Great story’s about Phil Rizzutto’s part in Paradise by the Dashboard lights….

He was in the TV booth with Bill White and he started rambling (unusual huh?) about music because a singer was in the stands… Then he stated

“Hey White, you know I was nominated for a grammy, for the work I did with Meatball” I kid you not!

I also heard a story where he did not know that his commentary was being used for the purpose it was in the song.. When he found out he was very angry…. Csest la vie..
