Ok. All is well. The injury was a slight sprain. At the age of 13 my son tore his growth plate in his shoulder. After that event we stressted to him that if feels pain to stop. Well he listned. There was pain after the throw so he pulled himself from the game and had the trainer ice him down. As of today the pain is gone. He aksed if he could test it today at practice. I game him the ok with the advice if he feels any pain or discomfort to STOP. I trust him as he remembers his shoulder injury and losing 8 weeks. He has a practice game this Sat. and wants to play. We will see. As far as the Varsity team, all the JV players are going back to JV team for now. The plan was to take a look with the varsity team and then get them some playing time at the JV level and possibly bring them up as the Varsity season dictates (injury,GPA,etc.). We are very cool with that. Anyway I get the sense when he returns to the JV team it is going to be like the big man on campus. The 4 players returning have more creditability now. The ups and downs of baseball. Can't live with it and can't live without it.
BTW...I tried to e-mail you a Snickers bar but it kept getting jammed in that narrow slot where you feed the tower thing diskettes...it's making weird noises now...I don't think this tower thing likes Snickers bars...here's a Baby Ruth...maybe it'll like that.
