This is even bigger than some might think it is.  The PAC 12 specifically said that the ALL sports are done through the END OF THE YEAR.  That's over 40% of the college basketball season, people.  If there is one thing Covid has taught us, it's that it doesn't get better when you add MORE people and stuff to FINITE spaces and time.  Imagine college football, college basketball and college baseball all being forced into a 5-month window between January and May.

Maybe college baseball should use this to implement the plan to move baseball back and play further into the summer.  They would not need to compete against the NBA and NHL playoffs.  The CWS would be the only game around in late July and early August.  Then MLB could move the draft to the day after the CWS finishes.  I think that this could increase college baseballs revenues.
