If you like high school football, you would have loved this game, and would especially have loved this catch! My son's team won their semifinal game last night, so will play for the state title next weekend.

Huge Friday Night Lights atmosphere, 12,000 people watched the state's #1 ranked team play the #2 ranked team in a rematch of the nationally televised game earlier this year.

Four lead changes in the second half. But nothing can match the beauty of the game winning touchdown.

You just have to see this catch and run.

It's at about the 3:15 mark. This kid is a total stud. Definite D1 football material, though is a junior. Very athletic. It was the best catch and run I have seen in such a critical situation (It was 2nd down and 22 yards to go, we were down by 2 points with about 5 minutes to go.

Enjoy!

Yes, our QB is the son of former NFL great Neil Lomax. Neil and I grew up together, and his son Jack and my son have been best friends since they were toddlers. It's great to see him perform so well.

Jack has an older brother, Nick, a QB who went to Boise State for three years. He left there this year because he could see he wasn't in their plans. He will have two more years of eligibility wherever he ends up next year.

Jack has committed to Oregon State.
Dang Julie~You're not kidding. These guys played one hecka of game and "ALL OF THOSE CLIPS" were just awesome. I especially liked the catch #10 in the white made behind him on the post pattern and then proceeded to the endzone.

The RB on the green team #28 was electrifying also, to say the least! Wonder if he plays baseball Cool

No to mention, Will Storey! What a story! Wonder if he plays baseball

The team in the white was definitely focused and prepared. Key: Film Anaylsis and focus in practices before game. Preparation met Opportunity
