Former Warrior pitcher David Carpenter got the call up last night to join the Angels in New York. Pitched a scoreless inning in relief today at Yankee Stadium retiring Cano, Teixiera and Ibanez.
David graduated from SGP in 2006. I played with his older brother and had the privilege of coaching David my first year at SGP. Great kid. Very happy for him and his family.
