Frenship Coach is resigning

At the end of season party this evening, Tony Thompson announced to the team and parents that he has accepted a position on his son's staff at 4A Brazosport High School and is resigning as Frenship's head baseball coach. Nobody there saw this coming. He hit the 400th career victory this year and went three rounds deep in the playoffs. Frenship will have all but 4 Sr's returning including 7 All District players.
