We made 3 baserunning outs at 3B, totally unexcuseable! As head coach and 3rd base coach, that is my fault. 2 of their 5 runs were unearned and we walked way too many hitters that scored on what few hits they had.

We have our ace for game 2, they have their #2. Told my kids this is why we play best of 3. If we are the better team, we'll get those 2 tomorrow. If not, then I'll tip my hat to them.

Congratulations to Coppell for their win over Lamar. I hated to see my son's senior season end! I wish the Cowboy's sucess and hope you go deep into the playoffs!

This series Lamar was it's own worst enemy. 10 errors in 2 games is tough for any team to overcome. Lamar had a very good season and I am very proud of all the boys and the fight they showed. Lamar should be in pretty good shape next year as they return both the number 1 and 2 pitchers as well as several other juniors who should contribute.
