Bowling Green, now Furman; and the list will lengthen. This makes me really sad, as opportunities for impassioned players are taken away and proud programs are eliminated.
For a host of reasons, I pray for healthier times and an eventual restoration of at least some of these that are being dropped in this unprecedented environment.

Furman a big loss. That program had been around since 1891.
Man, I wish that I couldn't believe this. What a great program, gone. Great set of coaches - Brett Harker a great guy, Greenville native. They had Leo Mazzone as special advisor to team. What a shame. This is a small school with a very large endowment and successful program. If they are getting the axed, more are coming.
Just finished phase 1 $3.5 renovation. Word locally is they might be hoping to get donors to foot bill for next season by saying done. I don’t know what to think. It is a great complex now.
