We lost to O'Fallon yesterday at Busch Stadium. Panthers 5 - Knights 4. We/Knights played all 32 kids in the game. What a great event for the kids. I'm sure that Coach Portz and the Panthers had just as much fun. Edwardsville tonight, Carbondale tomorrow, Collinsville on Monday then Regionals Centralia at Centralia on Thursday. TOUGH ROW TO HOE!

A night those kids will always remember. Kudos to your staff for playing everyone & best of luck next week - hope you make it up to Geneva.

I also applaud you for somehow getting 32 players in a single game. What a gesture on your part and I'm sure these boys will not forget their night playing at Busch Stadium. Good luck in these next games and into the playoffs.

deefield won 9-2, they jus outplayed us. It was pretty bad. Congrats to deerfield for clinching a share of the CSL north title. It was definitely a disappointing last home game for me and the rest of the senior vikings. We'll be ready for the playoffs though

Sorry about the way the game turned out, I know that all of the GBN players and parents were pulling for you guys. Go get them tomorrow so GBN will at least get a share of the title. Who do you have pitching tomorrow? Also, good luck in the playoffs (at least the first round anyway)!!

Ya we will try. Im actually not sure who is pitching tomorrow. One of our juniors Mike Rosemeyer is starting I think, but Stepniewski should get some relief work. Im looking forward to seeing GBN in the playoffs where I hopefully get to pitch against GBN again (I pitched the game that we won 3-1)

IT does not matter if they cant continue it through the playoffs though.
