Don't know the winner but the kid throw well enough to get it to their closer who I think gets the win. Creekview made some plays in the outfield that cost Coppell some runs. Creekview hit the ball when it counted. Our starter stayed two batters too long. Coppell left so many runners in scoring position that shouldn't have been, Creekview then made some plays in the infield with the bases loaded that earned them the win.....but this was one Coppell let get away.

Congrats to Kevin. First no-hitter I've played in during high school ball. He threw great. Made some key strides to reaching what I feel like may be unlimited potential. Consistency won't be a no-hitter every time, but can potentially be a dominant pitcher. For people who don't know about him, you now do.

OBN, Reagan plays a non-district game today vs. Jay H.S.

This coming Tuesday will be another challenge. Reagan will play Judson H.S., which defeated Smithson Valley H.S. last night. Smithson Valley handed Reagan its first (and hopefully only) defeat on Tuesday.

Was surprised to hear Sachse beat Rowlett and that was with a sophomore pitcher, Daniel Fails. Right now there are 6 teams in the hunt for the four playoff spots. Naaman is 4-0, Rowlett and Lakeview are 3-1, South Garland, Sachse and Rockwall are
2-2. Very competitive district.

Kevin Cosgrove pitched a great game...South Grand Prairie is a good team too. Good to see him stepping up and fulfilling a big role as one of the top two pitchers...

Congratulations to Kevin Cosgrove on his great performance. And, it was on his 17th birthday!!

Colleyville Heritage's Kyle Duncan should get some recognition for his complete game 1-hitter. His velocity seemed better the last few innings than the 1st few.

McKinney North's Trent Appleby threw a 1 hit shutout, facing 1 over the minimum Friday night. He was amazing to say the least. When you get ahead of the hitters like he did, you don't lose too many games.
