I searched for a thread on Ken's book but couldn't find one. So, I'm starting one here.

It's not about professional baseball. And, it's not from a major publisher. And, it's long (466+ pages). But, I thoroughly enjoyed this one and would recommend it to anyone who wants to learn more about the experience of being a college baseball player. For a first time author, Ken Jacobi writes as well or better than someone with several books on his resume. It's an incredible chronicle of the ups and downs of the NCAA baseball career that also includes more than ample historical information on college baseball as a whole. If you are a player with aspirations of playing college baseball or the parent of such a player, this might be one of the most important books that you can read.
