Heard today that former UIC star Curtis Granderson signed for 30 mil over 5 years - congratulations to him.
Michael Bowden (Waubonsee Valley 2005) invited to Red Sox spring training. Got to be a thrill to work alongside Beckett, Schilling, Lester, Papelbon, & his friend Bucholz etc. Good luck to Mike. Hope we see him up in September or earlier.

Granderson could lead the AL in runs scored this year. The Tigers might set all kinds of offensive records with that batting order.
