Son and close friend taking swings in garage tonight. I was watching and listening to them and they genuinely are excited about tomorrow being the first day of practice. Both are seniors. I almost got the sense that they might not be able to sleep tonight. Kinda of like christmas eve. I am proud of my son as he has been working on getting stronger, quicker, arm in shape and swing ready to go on first day of practice for months now. He is hoping to be one of three captains this year. Son's favorite quote is "Today I will do what others won't so tomorrow I can do what others can't". He sure has put in the work.
