Wow, what a game! It looked like Holliday's fingers COULD have skimmed the edge of the plate, who could tell for sure with all the dirt flying.

But in the other thread, trojan-skipper said "blocking the plate without possession of the ball...Rockies win either way". I'll take that. I'm a Twins fan of course, but we've been out to Coors Field on two summer vacations, so I think I'll adopt the Rockies for the playoffs.

What a great day to live in Denver, Colorado and be a ROCKIES fan! Son is in school at a D1 in Calif. and feels very far away from all the excitement at Coors Field. I just held the phone up and let him listen to 50,000 crazy fans! WHAT A GAME!

Anyone who has been to Coors field knows there is no way a ball bounces that far back on the field if it hits the yellow padding. Atkins should have had a HR and they never would have gone extra innings.

Gotta admit it was a game with a lot of "what ifs". If Holliday doesn't misplay Giles fly ball. If Cameron wasn't hurt and been in CF. The list goes on...
