4 May 2012, Awesome day at the ball field. It was "Bruce Crandall day" at Olympia High School and since Col. Crandall graduated from OHS in 1951, he and some friends attended the game. I was able to speak with Col Crandall again and I also had the privilege of meeting SFC Leroy Petry. Imagine two MOH winners together at a small town baseball game, they definitely set the example as humble, gracious warriors. What a great example for all the people in attendance. It also helped that Olympia won and my son went 2-3 with a double, a single and 3 RBI's
. SFC Petry was kind enough to offer me one of his MOH coins. RLTW! Lots of folks wanted to talk with them and many photos were taken, they stayed and talked with every last person, what a great day
