I travel a good deal for work. Was thinking about catching a day or 2 of a big time summer and/or fall tournament. wish list would be: great venue to be in stands, top varsity age travel teams/players looking to make name or final audition, enjoyable city with venue not more than hour or so from airport. I can't swing the CWS this year so thought I would check out big time HSBall If possible.

Summertime is great for minor league ball. The lower level teams tend to be in less metropolitan areas which makes it more of an experience. Try to pick out the future major leaguers. I once attended an A game where one player seemed to be ahead of the rest. His name was Hosmer.
Another er time I attended an A game in Modesto. It was fifty cent Union card night. A union card got the fan a ticket for fifty cents and beers were only fifty cents each. That was an interesting night. Plus both pitchers had no hitters after seven innings.
