Hey...I didn't really know where to post this, but I think this would be the best place. Does anybody else have bad problems with blisters on their bottom bat hand (left hand for rhb, right hand for lhb) from the knob of the back and the grip of the bat. I just got a new bat so it is not the grip, but I am experiencing painful blisters from movement of the bat in my hands throughout the swing. Has anybody else experienced this or knows how to fix it. Any suggestions would help thanks. I do use batting gloves, if you know any that are extra good please suggest that. Thanks

i get these the worst. after i finish tee work and softoss every day i take my batting gloves off and my fingers are bleeding. worst part is, now i am so used to it, i dont feel the pain when i am swinging, but once i finish, it hurts like hell. my only suggestion is to make sure your batting glvoes arent wearing down, and like someone else said band aids and athletic tape do help out a bit too.
Hit without batting gloves when you start your off season workout program. This will toughen up your hands and help create manageable calluses. You will get blisters, but this is a part of working to be a great hitter. Eventually the blisters will callus and your hands will toughen and strengthen.

A proper grip on the bat helps as well. The grip is the most overlooked portion of the swing, but is an extremely important element to being a consistent hitter.

I highly recommend this to hitters at every level. This is now being used by Professional Baseball Players... http://www.TheBatJack.com
