Red Skeltons Pledge of Allegiance

Red Skelton--from his television show in 1969 WOW ! Just think, he said this on his television show in 1969 and really had no clue it would ever come about. SAD, isn't it? What a wonderful and worthwhile clip to watch and share with all your friends and acquaintances!

Very awe-inspiring. Thank you for posting this recitation. I've seen it before, but somehow these days, it takes on new meaning.

It sickens me to know that not all teachers recite the Pledge of Allegiance, not all students recite it....nor do they stand up when it is said out loud to start the school day.

"You're a grand old flag,
You're a high flying flag
And forever in peace may you wave.
You're the emblem of
The land I love.
The home of the free and the brave...."
