I have read this same situation with College Jr's that go in the draft and the College Coach, assuming that Jr will leave for the pro's, backfills the spot with an incoming freshman. Then the Jr decides he does not like the draft slot and decides to stay in college one more year. The coach has to call the freshman back and say he does not have a spot for him. Unfortunately the 2nd choice for the freshman has already been taken up by someone else.
Tough situation all-around.
quote:Bryce Harper and his mother, Sheri, recently went to CSN and signed enrollment forms and his letter of intent to play baseball. Harper is aiming to earn his GED test credentials in the fall.
Has anyone heard if this kid made his GED, and will play for CSN this spring?

On the fall roster...
Even with minimal info (JC web site) it is full of articles and info on his decision, can't figure that he is anything other than eligible..
