Harrisonburg Deacons program results

This team, while only together for a few years, won a couple of state championships, had a top 10 finish nationally and regularly beat elite teams from Northern Virginia, Tidewater and Richmond. We may never see a more talented group of players on one team from this area.
The players on this team moving on to college ball next year include:
Justin Miller - TA - Ohio State
Alex Stover - TA - Ferrum College
Brandon Arbogast - PCHS - Potomac State JC
Jonny Gaston - HHS - moved to Idaho and was drafted by the SF Giants in the 20th round - Yavapai JC
John Gira - EMHS - Randolph-Macon College
Steve Craun - HHS - Randolph- Macon College
Andrew Brown - HHS - Baltimore CC
Will Zampini - HHS - Baltimore CC
Nathanael Kline - HHS - Rider University
Ryan Knicely - RE Lee - Virginia Tech (invited walk-on)
Also Patrick Ward & Dusty Dean were on the team and will be playing football in college.

Our guys actually beat the Deacons...once...out of about 10-15 tries, over 3 years, give or take, and it was the highpoint of that summer's play. A very classy team, classy coaches, just plain good all around operation. A job awfully well done.

I must agree, top notch all the way.

I even grabbed a few of em for my fall team and they traveled over the mountain to play for us for a few years and were never late for anything and always gave 100%.
