Wow... good for the Hartford program. They need a boost. I played in the America East conference as well ( Binghamton 205-2009 ) and every year Hartford struggled to field a competitive team. With their stadium and location I never understood this.
I do not know how much money the school puts in (obviously that makes a huge difference) but I think with the right coach they can start to make an impact in the conference. Having played UH for 4 years, and being a resident of CT, I was amazed at how many great players from the state never even got recruited from Hartford. All of those guys that are just under Uconn level are prime for the picking. It will be interesting to see how the change plays out.
