I will be driving a few hours away to see my mom who is in her late 70s and experiencing some health problems. It is sad but important to realize that your mom may not always be around.

My mother died on 8/1/76.
Gosh, how I love her and miss her, but know how lucky I was to have her guide me during her short life.

I lost my mom 22 years ago, she never got to see my babies. It was kind of Karma-like though, we had tried for seven years for our first child, Our whole family believes that mom worked a deal for her to go up, and him to come down, an angel for an angel. Lost my dad just a few weeks ago.

My son is taking me to lunch later today as he is till sleeping after his first round of playoffs. My mom, itsbeen five years,OH HOW I MISS HER!!!> today is still a little tough. Happy mothers day to all the moms. God bless

i've been lurking here for a few months learning a lot from all of you but this is the first time I have felt the need or ability to contibute. mom passed eight years ago this memorial day. she only saw 16 play once but he struck out every batter in the game. TRHIT- I have found that mothers day always was and always will be in our hearts as long as we love and remember.
