Outstanding...

A tremendous feat when you consider all that can go wrong in any given baseball game. To not lose a game in 80 spanning four years, with that many different players is amazing.

20Dad: I kind of wish son had the chance to play there too...

I haven't been back in about 10 years, but it wasn't even close to the same place then. I can't imagine what it's like now...

As far as baseball goes back then, we rarely carried winning streaks from Monday all the way to Friday of any given week.

i may be older than you, we had some decent teams in the early 70's. but never winning like this.

both my sons played here. the oldest (04) was on the first team to have a home playoff game in 20 yrs. so they kind of started a new thinking baseball wise.

he too is a lhp like your son.though a tad shorter at 5'8''. 2 yrs of a cc and was lucky enough to be drafted. you never know what can happen in a baseball life.
