hips, shoulders, hands...

Is this the correct sequence? I have seen advise on not letting the front shoulder lead the hands through, but I have been telling my boy to pull his hands through with that shoulder. The front shoulder leading the hands until after contact. Am I way off here?

No Tim your not. But the hands do more than just ride along. The hips start the rotation and then the shoulders follow. But make him use his hands and not just the front shoulder to pull them through.

Your right there on this one Vance. Those hands can ride along only for a short time, then they become the tools for adjustment.
