School Purchased a hitting mat and got one with boxes but no home plate, came with throw down. My question is....Does anyone know where the home plate goes in regards to distance from front and back of boxes and with between plate and boxes? I want to just paint a plate where it belongs.

From my experience, kids stand too far up in the box on a regular basis. Because of that, paint the plate somewhere that forces them to scoot back a little and make it feel normal . A little forward of "middle" should do the trick.
