it is nice to be mentioned in the same breath with those people--but they had their dissenters as well

By the way--SBK and others who are not happy with my approach what makes you think you away is right and and I am wrong. And who gave you the "right" to TELL me how to post

We can carry this forever but why?

Consider the case closed--you are what you are and I am what I am--is there not enough room for both teams ?

I express my opinion my way--you do it your way-
TR,

You talk as if people do not modify their behavior and we should excuse people because that’s just, "The way they are". You also ask others what gives them the, “The "right" to TELL me how to post”.

Right off the top of my head I would say the constitution. You seem to have no problem calling out other posters when they may be out of line. That is certainly your right and I doubt if many of us had a problem with it except that you want one set of rules for you and another for many others. You excuse your lack of tack and mean spirited posts as being acceptable because that’s just the way you are.

TR, I join others who have suggested to you that you have too much to offer players in your area of expertise to discredit yourself by commenting in the areas that you are without clue and to do so in a mean spirited way.

So I am utilizing my constitutional right and am doing so in a direct but professional manner because I realize that posting on this site is indeed a privilege and not a right. If I am out of line in asking that everyone operate under the same scrutiny than I apologize. Perhaps others can find the strength to do the same instead of hiding behind excuses for their lack of civility.
TR - Before you get your ego too inflated, I was not putting you into the same class as Ghandi and Napolean. I was merely using them as examples of people with great minds that had two opposite approaches leading or helping people. Also, most of Napolean's soldiers were dissenters while most of Ghandhi's were not. Does that tell you something about the way you post?
Again, I reiterate my original theme: if haven't got something nice to say, don't say it all and if you are all talk and no action, don't waste our time.
In defense of TR (not that he needs it)

Advisor/ghouse when you make a post you put a link at the bottom of your post to your web-site which you are trying to sell something to make money. I did not see where you will send me a free copy of your book/CD, correct me if I am wrong.

Pot calling the kettle black ?????

TR does not put his College Select link at the bottom of all of his post, although he could.

He has paid money to the HSBBW to place his advertisment on the HSBBW site.

As I see it.

CV - if you read all the posts, I never once mentioned anything about services. Mine, or TRHits...also, I post the link because of the hundreds of free resources and articlesthat I have spent thousands of hours developing, researching, etc since 1997. They are there for anyone to use - free of charge.

Honestly, you are way off on this post.
Advisor,

I just pointed out, you and others, are in a business to make money off of sports. I understand that, but don't bash the other guy for what you do.

Everyone on on here has different personalities just as in the wonderful world we live (not perfect).

I appreciate the free information on your web-site and I know you are proud of it and should be, it is evident you have spent a lot of time to develop your site. You as I love the game and want the best for all aspiring young players.

We are all going to have differences on here and everyone should take an extra effort to get along, after all we all have something in common or we wouldn't be on this site.

I apoligize if I was out of line.

My site has been up for 5 years and has no sponsors or advertisers of any kind. Advisors has been up longer than that. The book has been available for a year and a half so when people say you are just trying to make money, it's simply not true.

I personaly do not use a tagline for my posts. So if my link ever appears, I put it in as part of my message on my own.

I probably place my link at the bottom of my posts 10% of the time. You are welcome to check if you want.

It's usually after I have posted something informative because I want people to understand that I have some knowledge and credibility about the subject matter and I want them to be aware of another good resource when it comes to recruiting and the college selection process. I know that's really selfish in your mind!

There are hundreds of articles on my site some of which Bob has used for this site and a whole bunch of other useful information and links to help families. Most people spend some time on my site, read some articles and leave and that is fine with me.
CVsting - apology accepted, thanks for offering it up and acknowlegding the effort on my part. And I also note your point about different personalities and the effort to get along. Both points are well worth the reminder...
