I have followed Vandy from afar and they appear
to be loaded this year. I know there is a fine pitcher from the Cleveland area named Greg Moviel - just wondering if he has contributed.

A little off subject - I heard a recent interview with Ben Broussard of the Indians
and I think he said he went to Mid. Tenn. St.
He kind of said he was discovered somewhat as an after thought in that the coach was promoting someone else to a particular scout.
When the scout came to watch the so-called prospect, he left with a better impression of Broussard rather than the kid the coach was promoting. A neat story for all "non-prospects" out there.

It's a good thing that Omaha decided to practice law because it looks like Warner is going to need a good attorney/agent.

Some of us up here in the Frozen Tundra are keeping an eye on the box scores. Vandy's closer, Ryan Rote is from just down the road and played at Kettle Moraine HS in our Classic 8 conference. Grandfather was football great Tobin Rote who was drafted by the Packers, but QB'd for the Lions mainly. Shhhh....don't tell anyone but we got some ballplayers up here!
