I've have always heard it said, assuming you do have soem talent, "if you want to play and don't care where, there is always a place to play. I had a friend who went from Fla. to a small school in SD just to play.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought I read that there are close to 500,000 kids playing college ball. That means 500K spots. As was said, if you want to play, there is a school somewhere for you. You've got to have college level talent and do the work of contacting schools and coaches.
