I don't and I never saw anyone use it. It looks like it would give my hands an uncomfortable feeling on the bat.
There are a ton of MLB players using this product.

Mattingly use to use them as well. I also saw a few guys back in the early 90's use a rubber ring around their thumb.

I use it all the time---still playing at 51...have used one for nearly 6 years...I dont think many HS players would use it due to the light weight and slightly different swing mechanics...that and the built in sting/vibration reduction in many metal bats. I found it keeps the bat in my fingers and speeds up my swing...when I forget it and the bat gets back in the palm I slow down and a neck hit on wood hurts a great deal more! Get your HS kids on wood early...improves bat speed and weight shift.
