Define "what is college exposure"?
A summer schedule should include practice in a baseball Academy type format.
The games should be against teams who are competitive and have skilled players. There are summer coaches who desire to "pad" their schedules
non-competitive teams.
You may desire to invite a college coach to observe your son's game against a strong team.
When I scouted players for the AC games and now for the International Goodwill Series, I need to see the player against the best players. I will always find other skilled players in that game.
