We had a pinch runner on 1b, hitter hits a Home Run. Ump calls baserunner out at home, on appeal, for not touching the plate (what a bonehead, he currently resides under the Dog House and likely will never be released).

Scored a Solo HR for hitter (1-rbi) ... how do you "account" for the baserunner out at home? It's not interference, it's not obstruction, is it recorded as "bonehead baserunning error?"

Based on responses to other situations here, I would guess that it is scored as a put out by the catcher since he is the closest player to the call. My next question would be if there were two outs, would the HR not count as the runner called out was ahead of the hitter?

I guess the rules and questions regarding scoring a baseball game will never end. Part of what makes this game so intriguing.
