Around my area state finals are wrapping up, only seeing re-runs of games and some last year games (boring)! Then, just when I am starting to show the signs of withdrawal, Memorial Day weekend rolls around and BAM...summer tourny season kicks off........couldn't have coome at a better time....lol

State Finals? Wow! District Tournament wraps up tonight with Regionals set to begin next Monday. VA State tournament starts the week after.
Son's JUCO season wrapped up on the 14th (bounced out of the conference tournament) and he's been home since then.
Now just waiting for legion ball to start........
We lost in the 8A district championship game, 2-0, to the eventual 8A State Champs (who just won it this last weekend)... That second place finish however got us into regionals in Jacksonville where we lost to Sandalwood... Our season ended on 5/1...

Driving up to GA this weekend for his first tourny
Son's high school team is in the 4th round of the playoffs. 3 game series starts tomorrow night. 32-4 record so far but each round gets tougher. Down to the "sweet 16".
My highschool and where my son attended and played HS ball is playing for the State Championship in their classification tomorrow. Excited as can be. First time in school history (57yrs). However we play a very solid and tried and true Championship in Cartersville HS which is right next to the new PG complex being built! Not that that means a hill of beans!
But they are a REALLY good team to face.
