bbscout, 123KMom, calbb, and justbaseball (thats me!) all had a nice little in-person conference tonight at the Stanford/Fullerton game. We all decided that this is the best website around and we're all definitely hooked.

We also agreed that anchovies just aren't for everyone (even though I like them), but the garlic fries at Sunken Diamond are pretty tasty! manrunning

And by the way, Stanford won 16-3, home runs by Mayberry and Chris Carter. If you'll remember last year's CWS game between the two teams when Stanford pitchers hit a few Fullerton batters - well first pitch by Fullerton pitcher tonight was about 5 feet over the Stanford batter's (Sam Fuld) head and to the backstop. Pitcher proceeded to walk first 5 batters and hit the 6th. OUCH!

Pretty full house - and man was it nice to be back out at a baseball game! greenjump Mrs. justbaseball and all the little justbaseballs also enjoyed the game.

I have a picture of it in my mind.......
(Similar to the Nextel commercials where the bride and groom are married by speaking their vows into their walkie/talkie'sSmile

All of you rapidly "talking to each other" via your laptops, blackberry's, pda's and internet cell phones. Not a word was ever spoken. worm

The weekend was fun......meeting all the websters was great. Got to shoot the breeze with Mr & Mrs justbaseball, 123KMom and also met infielddad (Bill) and had a nice talk with him. calbb (Rob).......I see him all the time so it was no big deal Smile Strange weather....I wore a down coat on Friday night and a golf shirt on Sat afternoon. It was like old home week, as there were about 50 scouts at the opening game.
