I'm looking for a camp for my 13yo son

Not sure where you are located but here are two links to college baseball camps.  Many of these camps are overnight camps, most are day camps.  Usually the overnight ones the kids stay on the campus in dorms and eat at cafeteria of whatever the school is.  Hope this helps.  Good luck.

Best Camp in the US is the Doyle Academy located at the Detroit Tigers Spring Training Complex in Lakeland Florida. Denny Doyle, former major leaguer runs the program very hands on. Your son will interact with Denny and other professional players. Other instructors have included Blake Doyle, now the hitting instructor for the Colorado Rockies and the Manager for the Rockies Walt Weiss.

Denny has been teaching baseball to young players for more than 30 years and has seen many of those he has worked with find their way into the Major Leagues.

You can not go wrong. If you would like to speak with Denny, I can provide his cell number. He is a close friend having worked with my son for more than 10 years.

 

The program offers 1-3 week opportunities. Kids stay on site in the dorms the Tigers use and eat in the same cafeteria. The players will attend Minor League games on site and record pitches and other scoring as they learn the complete game of baseball from a tight group of instructors that truly love the game and love sharing what they know with our sons.

The Doyle camp looks great.  It might be a little far for us (we would have to fly down).  I've got a bit to think about.

 

 

They pick up and drop off players at the Orlando National Airport I believe.

They do.  I saw it on their website.  And the camp looks great.

 

However, there is no way I'm going to put my 13yo son on a plane and send him off.  If we go this route, I'll be taking him and picking him up.
