I caught the end of the game. I thought Ryley's fastball was electric. The velo was not on the screen, but it looked hard and firm with good life armside at the end. The other thing that I especially liked was how he was not afraid to challenge the FSU hitters with it in fastball counts. I always love a pitcher that basically says, it's a fastball count, I'm gonna throw it and see if you can hit it. The last kid he faced, Taylor Walls, is a friend of my son. We played against and with Taylor all through the high school years. He beat Taylor with a fastball. If I were a betting man I would have lost a LOT of money. Not sure I have ever seen that kid beat with a fastball that he knew was coming. Congrats ShoveIt!!
