in state tuition for out of state player?

Those programs are unique to each school---they all do things differently

And some of those rules are all ready in place with State law.

I haven't seen this much but I understand Clemson offers it, too.

My experience is that getting an in-state tuition rate is truly dependent on the school. It really varies. All this is aside from the arrangements that neighboring states have with each other.

For example: One school we found will give an in-state rate for 2 years if you transfer in an Assoc. degree and remain in good academic standing. (and it's called a scholarship)

Check one by one, each school on their websites. It's time consuming, but can save you a ton of cash.

i believe the state schools in new england offer a program like this. it may be only to NE residents.

There are a number of schools that offer in state tuition to out of state residents based on academics also. This happened with my son recently and was not part of the baseball offer the school made as it came before the offer and was strictly based on academics.

The key with the NCAA is that the waiver must be offered to ALL students (not just student athletes) based on academics.
