I'm considering renting an indoor facility here in Ct. to get some long toss and fielding drills for some of our high school players. Anyone have any suggestions as to other drills to include? I have to rent for an hour and just throwing for an hour will get boring. I figure I will have 10 - 20 players. The facility is turf and is 170 x 70 feet and 30 feet high s****r 1/2 court.

With proper warm up, long toss with pulldown phase and a proper warm down you'll have problems finishing in an hour. It doesn't sound long enough for long toss for HS players though.

As far as fielding drills go you should be able to do quite a few different drills as long as you aren't trying to hit popups. You should be able to lay out all the bases except home on that field and just be hitting grounders from a bit closer than normal. 2b would be back toward one wall and 1st and third would be lined up in the 170' direction. You should also be able to set up bullpen areas for your pitchers and soft toss stations hitting into nets.

When you want your catchers to get work on their throws just make 3b home and 1b second.
Thanks CADad. I'm not a coach but only a Dad trying to help the kids get some pre season workouts. Unfortunately they don't have anyone with knowledge stepping up to do anything. Can you direct me to where I might find the proper pre and post workouts associated with what we are trying to achieve? I'll try to post a search but I do see you and a certain few regularly post so maybe someone can direct me quicker. Thank you.
As far as long toss goes I'd recommend following the approach from this link:
long toss
You'll note that there isn't a station 1. Station 1 is running about a 1/4 mile.

For station 6 I'd recommend that you throw football passes (with a baseball) to the kids to get them to accelerate to the ball. I also have them go out looking over one shoulder and throw to them over the other shoulder and also have them go out straight away from me, throw the ball straight over their head, call out ball! and then they have to find the ball and catch it. This gets in both running and outfield drills at the same time.

We also work in wind sprints on occasion and since you probably have yard lines on the field you can have them sprint back and forth at about 10 or 20 yard intervals touching each 5 yard line along the way.
