He is credited with zero ininnings pitched. The number of innings pitched depends on how many outs are made while a pitcher is on the mound.

For example - Pitcher A pitches to 5 batters and walks them all. The coach changes pitchers and Pitcher B gets the three outs needed. Pitcher A is credited with an appearance but is not credited with any innings pitched. Pitcher B gets credit for the inning he pitched.
