Cord Jezek pitched a great game. I am not sure of the exact number of K's but I beleive it was in the double digits. Ryan's third baseman pulled himself out of the game in the second. He was feeling the effects of getting hit in the head in the first game.

2010DAD -- at one point, Derek Bell had 7 consecutive strike outs. He pitched good enough to win, but the Panthers did not play intelligent baseball. The Longhorns have good team speed and took advantage of their opportunities. Their leadoff guy is a pest!

PD-PE definitely a quality team. It was an excellent challenge for the Horns. We've played tough competiton early with loses but with hopes that'll translate to 'Ws' in district.
