so ive been working on my pitching which i just started 2 weeks ago. (ive had two RC problems in the past and this is not like that at all.) i can keep throwing but it feels akward and sore, no sharp pains
i know sometimes my arm drags and i believe that could be the cause of my pain as when i throw close to 100% sometimes it occurs and sometimes it doesnt. so ive been taking the week off and i just started throwing again lightly today, and i could feel it get tight i decided to air a few out and the 3rd hard throw i could feel it sore/pain.
im thinking its not the RC , maybe its some tendonitis.
the sore feeling comes in the front part of the should more in towards my body.
it use to get tight when i put my arm over my head (stretch) with no pressure from my left hand but now i can pressure it alot until i get pain. im hoping its getting better

im just hoping someone may have another idea or be able to suggest something :/

yea man, I have the same problem and I have on and off for years. Its most likely shoulder bursitis. I went a couple years ago to a doctor who told me it wasn't a rotator cuff problem, its just that the way i pitch/throw puts alot of strain on my arm thus inducing the inflammation. I've been pithching for 3 years now with it off and on and I'd say the best thing really is, Ice.. aleve, and I also work out my legs alot after pitching to reduce lactic acid in my arm.
-Hope that helped.
The link was not for self diagnosis but a common ailment in the area you described.
Only an orthopedist can tell if it might be seperate from a tear by strength tests, MRI etc.
If not treated, and not knowing what is the cause, it could lead to further complications. PT (the proper PT) is helpful.
I would suggest if it feels uncomfortable to see a doc asap. Not taking care of it could set you back awhile.
