Anyone else loving this trade for the rangers? Batting .600. OPS of 1.747. Had a on-base streak of 13 straight finally broken yesterday. If this kid stays healthy and straight, he has star potential.

That being said, I'm still waiting to get my heart broken by the rangers.

Had the privilege of seeing Josh over the course of the last week out in Surprise, and he is certainly a special talent. He's a 5 tool guy that many scouting directors have called the best high school player since Alex Rodriguez. Josh has the ability to be a 50 HR guy with base stealing potential and a big arm in the outfield. Not to mention he's put together like an NFL Tight End. The BIG question is whether or not he can stay healthy.

The Rangers dealt Edison Volquez in this deal who is doing extremely well in Spring Training so far for the Reds, and one can only hope that this transaction works out well for both organizations. If Hamilton stays healthy, his numbers could be scary...

I'm pulling for this kid for sure.....if he can continue to stay drug free and sober, he could be a VERY special player for many years to come. It's great to see him doing well after all he's been through. There was a nice article on him a few weeks ago in the DMN. If you can, go online and try and find it. It's a really good article and well written.
Daniels needs a good trade.
Losing Chris Young and Adrian G. to the Padres was a disaster. McCarthy for Danks is still up in the air.
How about the Rangers determined to let Hurley pitch in the rotation to start the year? Guy is having a great spring training. He is showing he can get major league hitters out. Gotta be a better choice than Ponson for that 5th spot.
